Updated appliances and hardwood floors. Maintenance is quick if there are any issues. All the communal areas are kept clean and frequently maintained.

Every year PT plays this game of let’s have the people that spend over 2k a month on rent sweat the life out of them. SO BLESSED THIS IS MY LAST YEAR HERE! The only benefit this building has is location, if it was located in the middle of nowhere where they would have to condemn the building with how old it is. The building needs major work it’s 2026 how do we not have central air conditioning 24/7 in a building that charges almost 2.5k. The package room is a disgusting mess the leasing office needs to either take the packages and put in the system themselves or do a bigger room someone is going to get hurt with little to no space to retrieve your packages. They are not serious about the people that smoke here, add more cameras or don’t bother at all. I smell weed every day inside the building. Live if you want to be close to dc and Clarendon but be cautious the leasing team sucks and the place is expensive for no reason, uneven flooring.

I am extremely disappointed by the lack of timely written communication from management. Getting responses to basic inquiries is unnecessarily difficult and reflects poorly on their professionalism and accountability. Potomac Towers also advertised a $500 tenant referral bonus that management has failed to honor in good faith. Promoting financial incentives and then not following through is unethical and misleading, and it undermines tenant trust. The maintenance team and cleaning crew are excellent—responsive, professional, and consistently reliable. I value ethical business practices, transparency, and follow-through. Potomac Towers has failed in these areas, particularly regarding communication and honoring advertised promotions.

While the events and amenities are great, my studio apartment has struggled with flies and certain features inside my apartment are less than ideal (cabinets not closing, a draft coming through, etc..). I can hear my neighbors (upstairs and on my same floor) through my walls. My neighbors across the hall also has a dog that does not stop barking when they leave. I can also hear when the neighbor next to me is in their shower when I’m in my bathroom.

*Maintenance and custodians are wonderful. *The dog park desperately needs a shaded area- we've been denied an awning that is the most logical solution, and have suggested other solutions (woodchip area, heat-resistant turf, longer hose on the water dispenser) but our concerns have been ignored every time. *Communication regarding issues that directly affect residents, such as unexpected repairs, maintenance work, water shutoffs, or the presence of outside contractors, is consistently inadequate. While frequent emails are sent promoting community events, there is often little to no advance notice or explanation when essential services are disrupted. Residents should not be left to discover problems as they occur, nor should they be required to individually contact the leasing office to find out what is happening or how long an issue will last. Timely, proactive, and transparent communication about operational matters should be a standard practice, not an exception.

Just here for the points honestly, parking sucks due to people just parking their car and walking to Clarendon. No point in paying for a parking sticker honestly they never check.

Great apartment, I've loved living here so far and the building is amazing. The one thing is the leasing office has been a little off, I was sent the incorrect paperwork that included another resident's Social Security number and self guided tours were happening in my apartment when I wasn't home (the leasing office left the keys in the lock box for potential residents to access my place even after I had moved in).

Just signed a lease and it was fast and easy as I am out of town and did it all by website and virtual tour of the community. We communicated what I was looking for the the office was able to assist with all that I needed.

It’s okay but for the price not really worth it. Best to stay 2-3 years and leave cause the price gets crazy high for no reason. Not enough changes occur in the place that benefits your apartment. Them adding a new vending machine is cool but how about smart thermostats or purified water filters in the kitchen.

Amenities are fine. Pool rules have changed twice this season. Elevator policies have changed as well making it hard for someone who lives in a studio with only one fob. Lack of communication when anything is happening in or outside the building (construction, parking lot closure, etc). I don’t think this apartment is worth the price they are making people pay.

The building team from the office staff to the maintenance workers are all amazing. The property is well kept. Any issues are responded to quickly and efficiently. The only downside is the walls are pretty thin, quiet neighbors are key.

Took a while for the ac to come on and then we had a few power outages so we had a few days here and there where the ac wasn’t working. The events they have don’t really cater to people that are vegan or diary free as well as non alcoholic.

Potomac towers is a great place to live, spacious apartments and nice amenities. Maintenance is very responsive. Just minor things like moisture in bathrooms and a/c doesn’t work sometimes. Also have not been able to receive a referral credit I applied for over 7 months ago.

Great location but a bit pricey. About a 10 minute walk to Courthouse metro so it doesn’t take long to get into DC when needed. Newer appliances, but the walls are a bit thin. You will also see roaches in the warmer months on the bottom level.

They never answer my emails it takes them weeks to respond and it’s the same blurb, 8th floor smells like urine for the past 3 months, neighbor has been smoking weed and I smell it in the vents, loud music every other day.

The apartment community overall is really great! The apartments are updated and spacious and the move in process is relatively easy and smooth! There are a lot of dogs in the building which is great too although doors are thin so you can hear heavy barking sometimes. The package room also is a bit chaotic and finding packages can be difficult.

I had a wonderful stay in this apartment! The space was clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed. The living area was cozy yet spacious, with comfortable furniture and plenty of natural light. The kitchen had everything I needed, making meal prep easy. The bedroom was quiet, with a great mattress that ensured a restful sleep, and the bathroom was spotless with excellent water pressure. I especially loved the balcony, which offered beautiful views and a relaxing spot to unwind. The location was fantastic—close to public transportation, shops, and restaurants in a safe and lively neighborhood. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing great local tips. Overall, this apartment was a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and quality. Highly recommended!

I have had a very good experience so far. Each maitenance request I have put in was either serviced day of or the next day. The staff is very nice and the amenities are great! They also put on social/workout events each month and are very accommodating to pets. The kitchen cabinets do have chipping paint inside, which is pretty annoying. The bathroom tile also has some sort of painting/coating on it that is a bit sharp in some places. The air conditioning vents were also not clean, which was affecting my allergies until I did a thorough scrubbing. Overall, I have had a great experience so far, but there are a few minor issues.

All things considered, I have had quite a positive experience at Potomac Towers. My only significant complaint right now is some dogs on my floor. They growl a lot, and their owners let them run down the hall (that's what it sounds like). I believe their owners are in Room 440 (I have seen a big and quite active dog bouncing up and down when its owners have gone in or out of their room).

Overall, I have had a good experience at Potomac Towers. Maintenance people are very responsive, and it's within walking distance of the Metro. My only real complaint is the rate at which the rent goes up - mine went up 9% when I renewed my lease most recently. An annual increase is natural, but 9% seems pretty high.

Living here the past 5 years has been a largely enjoyble experience. My only minor complaints ahve been the number of repairs/disruptions that repair or maintenance work can cause. Also, the mail room is often an overcrowded mess, which makes finding packages, especially around the holidays, very frustrating.

I moved in on 11/18 and so far everything has been great. Residents are friendly, public areas area very clean and the maintenance team is prompt and professional. My only feedback would be a better system for packages. I had a package delivered on 11/18 and I didn't receive a notification and code that it had arrived until 11/28. I am currently missing a package that was delivered on 11/28. The package storage area is small for the amount of apartments in the building. I would recommend Potomac Towers to anyone who is looking for a quite apartment in a convenient location!

Overall living in Potomac Towers is a very pleasant experience. The office staff and the maintenance team are wonderful. While there is of course a bit of noise, that's to be expected in a multi family dwelling. The social events that have been recently implemented add a special touch to living in the building. Honestly, if they had units with two bathrooms, we would definitely consider living here indefinitely.

Had I known about the package situation it would have changed my decision to live here at all. When multiple have been lost or taken by mistake and the answer from the front office is to contact the merchant, it’s really makes you feel like they don’t care. Residents pay a lot of money to live here and having building upgrades like newer things and package management would be far more valuable to residents than social events. It’s not college for most of the building.

For some reason we get barely any time with the AC on and I understand it’s a compliance in place by the “state” but we get AC for a very short period of time and the heat seems to be on for way longer than necessary. Other than that one inconvenience I can’t really complain.

Its a great place to live especially if you don't have a car! There are several bus routes around the area and the courthouse metro is also nearby. The only negative thing I can say about the building is that sometimes I am afraid to order things because Ive had packages stolen in the past.

It’s really upsetting to not be able to receive packages into secure parcel pending lockers as was promised during move in and after paying for the service. I would not have chosen Potomac towers if I knew they did not make sure the system was properly used and now no longer send packages here after having several missing. I pick them up at stores or send them to friends.

10/10 recommend Potomac Towers. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the maintenance team is extremely professional and quick to answer any maintenance requests. The apartments are cozy and sound proof lol, and the amenities are fantastic, especially the grill and patio area, rooftop and the gym. I've loved meeting other people here, especially at the various community events. Only downside to me is the AC system - I'd much rather have a central AC system that I can use year-round as I want. As well it'd be nice if the call box to the basement door worked, too. Thanks though to Potomac Towers for making this the best resident experience I've had out of all my apartment stays!

Just moved in and it’s a great place. A place to get coffee and a convenience store. Only draw back is if you have a pet you have to bring out your keys every time. Seems such a small thing to do but the area where most people take their dogs are gated. Otherwise than that I love the area.

Potomac Towers is generally a nice place to live with good amenities. I had an issue with several different neighbors smoking marijuana. It took a month and a half of complaints for the management company to address the issue, but I’m glad to say that it’s resolved for now. My only other complaints are with regards to noise levels and property upkeep. The walls are thinner than most apartments I’ve lived in and it can be challenging to have neighbors who practice instruments late at night and blending smoothies at 5 in the morning. Additionally, I wish the property was better maintained. The elevator floors are always filthy, parcel pending never works, and only 2 of the 4 grills work. Additionally, the security to get in to the gym has been broken for months, as well as one of the weight machines. If you are going to charge the rates of high end apartments, the building needs to reflect that with its amenities.

Pool isn’t open and we can’t even just sit in the pool area to relax. This was a major amenity I wanted for the summer and to not have it with no sort of remediation, rent relief etc is frustrating. Have been trying to get in contact with a manager for 3 months regarding a mis charge from March (now is May). Charge was not only never fixed, I was charged the same erroneous amount in May as well! Management is extremely incompetent. Medo reached out this week by email after about half a dozen visits to the lobby looking for him, half a dozen phone calls and multiple emails. But he's still failed to fix the problem, at this point I'm not even surprised. Apartments are way too expensive to provide such trash and unresponsive mgmt. Make rent more reasonable or replace your mgmt.

The rooms are very comfortable and well sized for the price. The amenities also provide a high quality of life. However, he walls are relatively thin, so you can easily hear your neighbors and the outdoors, which has disturbed my sleep in the past. Additionally, the air conditioning and heating cannot be active at the same time, meaning due to government regulations there are periods in the Spring and Fall where the apartments get to over 80 degrees - creating much discomfort. Ultimately these issues are only problematic on occasion, so I can't claim that they ruin the overall experience.

Overall I’m fairly happy with everything. The facilities are nice, but the actual apartment itself needs some help. While some things have been more recently updated, some of these updates were done poorly- like flooring not aligning correctly, not a superb paint job, wonky walls in some areas. Some things were not updated, like the bathroom, and it shows with old tiling, a poorly constructed mirror, and a cracked and stained bathtub. Management is also not the most responsive by email. Day to day living is fine and management has responded to emergency repair requests quickly, so overall things are alright.

4 months living here and I have enjoyed it so far. Great customer service and cleaning. Well maintained. I also like the gym and use it almost every day.

Concerned about repeated infrasture issues (water, heat, & A/C) & wondering how we can nail smokers nearby my room (can smell it through my bathroom vent and central A/C)

Nearing a year of being a resident at Potomac Towers and very happy. Most neighbors and staff are super friendly, great location and fairly clean. My only criticism really would be the parcel room, though I feel it’s typically unruly state is due in part to the couriers’ carelessness and residents not picking up packages in a timely manner.

The staff and residents are very friendly. And the apartment is well kept. I like the dog park for the residence with dogs. However one small thing I will say is that while I like the parcel mail delivery system, the fact that sometimes the delivery person dosnt use it properly can be annoying

Potomac Towers is there first apartment I’ve lived in and I couldn’t be more pleased. Coming from out of state, everyone from the front desk, maintenance, and residents have been extremely helpful and kind. The amenities are unbelievable, apartments are updated and clean, and overall just a wonderful place to live. I’ve only been here a few months but can’t wait to rehire my lease!

Living here at Potomac Towers is very convenient. The staff and amenities are great. If only the repairs would end, I could give that final star. I also do wish they had not removed the convenience store.

I enjoy the amenities. Noise from the hallway can be a bit of an issue and only having access to either hot air or cold air. Looking forward to more in person community events

Great amenities help make this place worth staying at. It is a far walk to the metro but with parking and the pool and updated amenities I have enjoyed staying here. Rent seems to be getting a bit high.

Despite all the existing strengths of Potomac Towers--great location, spacious grounds, and good (for now) maintenance--the place has been going downhill fast and has major problems due to ultra-poor management. The most glaring need is for on-site building security that you can call when there is a disturbance and have confidence they will take action. We had that for years, but it was stupidly taken away and never restored. That was the #1 most valuable service here, and we need it back big time. The place has become Anarchy Central. People gather in huge groups and make loud noise all night right under our windows, and management does nothing about it. They don't care about anything but their paychecks, and their poor job performance shows it. People drive cars the wrong way around the front circle all the time, which endangers pedestrians, bikers, and motorists. We obviously need better signage, and have for a year now. The place would be great if it had actual managers.

Punctual, reliable staff. The best apartment building I've been in since I've moved to Virginia from the District of Columbia. Maintenance is always handy and gets things done as well.

I love how friendly everyone is and the amenities are great! My only complaint is that I sometimes hear my neighbors through the vents, but that rarely happens.

Love the amenities, outdoor space, car wash, package delivery lockers, and convenience shop. The elevators are quick and parking is never an issue.

More effort put into the amenities than the actual apartments. Hallways smell funky and the bottom floor has smelled like trash for the past week. Our apartment has had three instances of mold/leakage and we’ve only been here for 2 weeks.

Potomac Towers is a fantastic place to live. It is centrally located to tons of restaurants and bars. The units are renovated and very spacious. I’ve enjoyed my first 3 months in the building and look forward to many more.

Pro: good location, near Metro station, nice to have parks nearby, maintenance people are very quick to respond to requests and fix problems Con: rent seems to have risen very quickly in the four years I've been here (from $1,395 to $1,846) If I decide to renew my lease, and at that time there are other studio apartments available for lower rent than the rent listed for my renewal, it would be great (and, I think, fair), if I could renew for the lower rent of the other apartments instead.

The maintenance team is very responsive and respectful. The management team is also great! Other than the occasional outbreaks of incessant barking, my hallway is usually pretty quiet.

Great amenities and free parking. Also dog friendly which is always a plus. Maintenance is always quick. Management could be more responsive though. Often hard to make it through to a manager.

Great place to live with nice proximity to the metro and other public transportation. Friendly staff and nice amenities that are well maintained. The building is constantly undergoing some type of update/construction which can be disruptive, but in the end is good because they’re taking care of the building.

Potomac Towers is cozy, lush with greenery, and easily accessible to DC, Clarendon, Rosslyn, and the entire DMV metro system. The rooftop lounge and green spaces provide a relaxing, scenic venue for picnics and gatherings with friends!

Customer service has been excellent from my start date until now. I have just a few issues and they have corrected within days and sometimes hours. I enjoy the payment portal and the mobile food truck. I hope at the end of my contract the rent does not go up beyond what I kind pay.

Pro: Near Metro station and nice parks. Good backyard green area with trees. Close to stores. Con: Too many renovations (I sometimes wonder why they bother with so many) and the resulting noise. Change of preferred insurance company was confusing.
